Lucid is set to introduce Tesla Supercharger access for its 2025 Gravity electric SUV.
In November 2023, Lucid made a commitment to utilize the Tesla-developed NACS charge port. By September 2024, it was announced that the Gravity would be equipped with a NACS port shortly after production began. The automaker has now confirmed that all Gravity vehicles intended for the U.S. market will come with a NACS port, with Supercharger access becoming available on Jan. 31.
The NACS port on the Gravity is located in the same position as on a Tesla—the rear driver’s side of the vehicle—to enable easy access to V3 and V4 Supercharger stations. This location differs from the front left fender where the charge port was initially placed in prototypes.

The Gravity is expected to achieve a sustained charging power level of 225 kW on 500-volt DC fast chargers such as the V3 Superchargers and up to 400 kW with the 1,000-volt output of V4 Superchargers.
At peak charging rates, Lucid estimates that the Gravity can add around 200 miles of range in less than 12 minutes at a peak 400 kW—a significant improvement over the previously claimed 15 minutes with a 350 kW connector.
Lucid has also confirmed a 123 kWh battery capacity, featuring cells supplied by Panasonic with updated chemistry compared to those used in the Air sedan, providing an estimated 450 miles of range.

A CCS1 adapter is provided with NACS-equipped Gravity models, matching the 400 kW peak of the NACS port without an adapter, according to Lucid. Models equipped with the NACS port will also retain the capability of bidirectional charging at up to 19.2 kW.
Bidirectional charging includes the ability to charge other EVs, known as RangeXchange, a feature introduced on the Lucid Air sedan in 2023. Lucid has announced plans to introduce Supercharger access for the Air in the second quarter of this year, with further details to come.
The 2025 Lucid Gravity will debut in Grand Touring trim with a starting price of $94,900 before destination charges. A Touring grade priced at $79,900 is expected for the 2026 model year. Initial reviews, including a prototype test drive and evaluation of a near-production Gravity, have been positive.
