Tesla (TSLA) has recently initiated the release of FSD v14.3.3 with the firmware software version 2026.14.6.6. This new over-the-air (OTA) Full Self-Driving update has started rolling out to a select group of early access Tesla owners.
The rollout of FSD v14.3.3 (2026.14.6.6) began just a few hours ago, and with this new point release of FSD (Supervised), Tesla has introduced four new bullet points in the release notes. One of the most notable additions in this update is the attention given to the Actually Smart Summon feature.
One of the key features in this update is the new live counter that has been added to the center touchscreen UI. This live statistic displays the number of miles driven on Full Self-Driving since the last human intervention. An intervention is recorded when the human overseeing FSD takes control of the steering wheel, brakes, or accelerator pedal for safety reasons.
The addition of this live counter provides Tesla owners with real-time feedback on the autonomous driving capabilities of their vehicles. It resets with each intervention, giving users a clear indication of how well the system is performing.
However, there are concerns about the safety implications of this feature. Experienced Tesla FSD tester Chuck Cook believes that the live counter could incentivize drivers to avoid interventions even when necessary, potentially compromising safety. It is important for users to prioritize safe driving practices over achieving a high intervention-free streak.
In addition to the live counter feature, Tesla has also made improvements to the Actually Smart Summon functionality by unifying the AI models between FSD and Robotaxi. This has resulted in more reliable behavior and an increase in the maximum speed of Actually Smart Summon from 6 mph to 8 mph.
As the FSD v14.3.3 (2026.14.6.6) update is still in the early stages of rollout, reviews of the Actually Smart Summon feature will be shared in a future post.
The official release notes for FSD v14.3.3 highlight various upgrades to the neural network, improved handling of driving scenarios, enhanced parking spot selection, and improved response to emergency vehicles and other rare vehicles. The update also includes upcoming improvements such as expanding reasoning to all behaviors, adding pothole avoidance, and enhancing the driver monitoring system.
Overall, the FSD v14.3.3 update brings several enhancements to Tesla’s Full Self-Driving capabilities, providing users with a more advanced and reliable autonomous driving experience. Stay tuned for more updates on Tesla’s FSD features and improvements.
