Marine Blue typically costs an additional $1,000 USD (approximately $1,350 CAD), while the Performance-exclusive Frost Blue Metallic comes at a premium of $2,500 USD ($3,400 CAD).
Canadian buyers previously had limited access to Marine Blue on select configurations, but the addition of Frost Blue represents a significant expansion for the market. By associating specific colors with higher trims, Tesla is following a similar strategy to traditional luxury automakers, using exclusive paint options as a status symbol for its top-tier performance models.
Both Marine Blue and Frost Blue are currently available for order on the Tesla configurator. While delivery timelines are expected to remain consistent with current production schedules, local availability may vary as Tesla transitions its paint shops to accommodate the new color options.
