Honda and Acura EVs to Access Tesla Supercharger Stations
Honda has announced that starting this spring, both Honda and Acura electric vehicles will be able to utilize Tesla Supercharger stations. This move is part of a broader strategy to enhance charging infrastructure for electric vehicles across different brands.
Owners of Honda and Acura EVs will receive adapters to enable their vehicles to connect to Tesla’s NACS connectors at Supercharger stations. Details regarding the availability and pricing of these adapters have not been disclosed by the automaker.

2024 Acura ZDX
The Honda Prologue and Acura ZDX SUVs, currently the only all-electric models from the brands in the U.S., are based on General Motors platforms and manufactured by GM. Despite this, Honda manages charging infrastructure independently, leading to a delay in Supercharger access compared to GM’s rollout.
Aside from Honda and Acura, several other automakers are set to add Supercharger access in the coming months. Mercedes-Benz will open access in February, followed by Kia and Volkswagen later in the year. Brands like BMW, Genesis, Lucid, and JLR are also expected to join soon.

Honda 0 Saloon and 0 SUV prototypes
Honda is part of the Ionna DC fast-charging network, which will offer CCS and NACS connectors. The company is currently testing four Ionna charging sites and has broken ground for a fifth location.
With access to Supercharger stations and the Ionna network, Honda and Acura EVs, including upcoming models like the Acura RSX compact SUV and Honda 0 Series set for 2026, will have enhanced charging capabilities. These models are expected to feature native NACS ports for seamless charging.
