Canadian electric vehicle rewards platform WattsApp has hit a significant milestone, surpassing 5 million charging points recorded on its platform. To celebrate this achievement, the company has launched two major community promotions that began on June 1st.
WattsApp is a mobile platform designed for electric vehicle owners, allowing users to connect their home charging hardware and vehicles to track data and earn financial rewards. By monitoring charging sessions, the platform helps EV drivers optimize their energy use and offers incentives such as direct cash back via e-Transfer and referral point bonuses.
The highlight of the celebration is the Summer Supercharging Credit program, which will run from June to August. Eligible electric vehicle owners can receive a $25 CAD credit each month, totaling up to $75 CAD in rewards over the summer simply by keeping their home charger connected to the platform. To claim the cash back, users must select their qualifying charging sessions within the app’s Supercharging Dashboard. The rewards will be issued via e-Transfer at the end of each month. To be eligible for the summer credits, users must have documented ownership of both the vehicle and the charger linked to their WattsApp profile.
In addition to the charging credits, Toronto-based WattsApp is also enhancing its referral network incentives. Starting June 1st, the platform has increased its standard referral reward from 100 points to 500 points per successful sign-up. There is no limit to the updated referral structure, allowing participants to accumulate larger balances by bringing more EV owners onto the system.
To take advantage of these promotions, interested individuals can sign up for WattsApp and participate in the promo today. WattsApp continues to innovate in the electric vehicle industry, providing valuable rewards and incentives for EV owners to optimize their charging habits and earn financial benefits.
