Tesla’s Hollywood Supercharger Diner is almost ready to open its doors, as it has officially appeared in the Tesla app. The location, situated along Santa Monica Blvd between Highland and La Brea in Hollywood’s Media District, has been under construction since September 2023. Now, with the site listed as temporarily closed in the Tesla app, it seems like the public launch is just around the corner.
The Tesla Diner-Supercharger-drive-in theater hybrid boasts 80 V4 Superchargers capable of delivering up to 325 kW. Despite being in its pre-launch state, only one stall is currently listed as out of order. This recent update in the app signals that the grand opening is imminent.
Early reports from a “test opening” have revealed exciting details about the diner. Diners will be able to order food directly from their in-car screen, with meals served in Cybertruck-shaped boxes. The venue will feature two massive 45-foot screens playing movies and videos synced with the car’s speakers and display — a feature confirmed by CEO Elon Musk on X.
The menu will offer a variety of classic diner fare, including burgers, fries, chicken wings, hot dogs, and hand-spun milkshakes, all presented in a sleek, retro-futuristic aesthetic. The diner will also include luxury Toto restrooms, elevators for accessibility, and an Optimus robot display. Additionally, guests will have the opportunity to purchase Tesla Diner-branded merchandise like shirts, hats, and more.
With its blend of nostalgia, innovation, and convenience, the Tesla Diner is poised to become one of the most unique Supercharger locations to date. Stay tuned for the official opening of this exciting new addition to the Tesla experience.
