Oracle Cloud Partners with xAI’s Grok 3 to Deliver Advanced AI Model to Corporate Customers
xAI’s Grok 3 has teamed up with Oracle Cloud to bring its advanced AI model to corporate clients, marking a significant collaboration in the artificial intelligence space.
The partnership, announced by Oracle earlier this week, utilizes Oracle’s robust infrastructure to offer xAI’s Grok 3 as a transformative tool for various business applications.
Clay Magouyrk, Executive Vice President at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, stated on LinkedIn, “Today, we announced xAI has chosen Oracle to provide xAI’s Grok models through OCI Generative AI service, catering to a wide range of use cases and utilizing OCI’s top-tier AI infrastructure for training and inferencing.”
Oracle’s cost-effective AI capabilities will support xAI’s demanding workloads, enabling faster processing for enterprise users and enhancing overall efficiency.
According to Oracle’s Karan Batta in a statement to Reuters, “Our aim is to offer a portfolio of models, including Grok 3, Meta, Mistral, and Cohere, hosted on Oracle Cloud to ensure corporate data security within Oracle’s existing protections.”
Elon Musk’s xAI launched Grok 3 in February, positioning it against models from DeepSeek and OpenAI. While Grok 3 is free for all X users with limited features, Premium and Premium+ subscribers gain access to advanced capabilities such as DeepResearch and Think modes.
Oracle and Elon Musk’s companies have a history of collaboration, with Oracle founder Larry Ellison previously serving on Tesla’s board. In 2023, Ellison unveiled plans for a Tesla Cybertruck police car during the Oracle CloudWorld conference, highlighting the close relationship between the two entities.
The integration of Grok 3 into Oracle Cloud solidifies xAI’s presence in the corporate AI market. By combining Oracle’s infrastructure with Grok’s innovative features, this partnership has the potential to revolutionize enterprise AI adoption and drive innovation across various industries.
