The 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQL is a longer version of the Cadillac Escalade IQ, offering more space and comfort for passengers. Unlike traditional long-wheelbase models, the Escalade IQL has added 4.2 inches of length at the rear, without changing the wheelbase.
This extra length translates into increased legroom and headroom for third-row passengers, as well as additional cargo space in the trunk. The Escalade IQL measures 228.5 inches in length, with the same width and height as the Escalade IQ. The wheelbase remains unchanged at 136.2 inches.
Cadillac highlights that the Escalade IQL provides over four inches of extra legroom and an additional inch of headroom for third-row passengers compared to the Escalade IQ. The cargo capacity behind the third row has also been expanded, offering more versatility for storage needs. The powertrain remains the same as the Escalade IQ, featuring a dual-motor setup with impressive horsepower and torque figures.
With a 205-kilowatt-hour battery pack, the Escalade IQL boasts a Cadillac-estimated driving range of 460 miles. Charging capabilities allow for quick replenishment, with up to 116 miles added in just 10 minutes. The interior features a curved pillar-to-pillar 55-inch display, a premium audio system, and advanced driver assistance technologies.
The 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQL can accommodate up to seven passengers and offers a range of optional packages for enhanced luxury and convenience. Production is set to begin in mid-2025 at General Motors’ Factory Zero plant in Detroit, with global availability in different trim levels. Pricing starts at $132,695 in the United States, slightly higher than the Escalade IQ.
Overall, the Cadillac Escalade IQL stands out for its extended rear section, providing a more spacious and luxurious experience for passengers. With advanced technology and performance capabilities, it sets a new standard for electric luxury SUVs in the market.
