Nissan has some thrilling product surprises in store for the North American market as it emerges from recent financial challenges. Affordable EVs, widely available hybrids, and a plug-in hybrid are all part of the plan to rejuvenate its U.S. lineup.
The highly anticipated next-generation Nissan Leaf will make its debut in the U.S. and Canada before Japan and Europe. The Leaf, along with the 2026 Nissan Rogue plug-in hybrid, is expected to arrive by fiscal year 2025. The Leaf, featuring a more crossover-like design and advanced technology, will compete with the upcoming 2026 Chevy Bolt EV.

Nissan also announced plans for a new generation of the Sentra and Pathfinder by early 2026. Additionally, a completely redesigned Rogue featuring plug-in hybrid and e-Power series hybrid technology will be introduced by fiscal year 2026.
Looking ahead to 2028, Nissan will focus on producing an adventure-focused SUV in Mississippi, followed by an electric Infiniti SUV inspired by the Vision QXe concept. This new lineup will showcase Nissan’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in the automotive industry.
