SAE J2954
The SAE wireless charging standard was introduced in October 2020, aiming to create a universal standard for all EVs. The collaboration between SAE and car manufacturers resulted in a grid-to-battery efficiency of up to 94%. The NACS connector, which plays a crucial role in efficiency, boasts an efficiency of around 98.55%, depending on various factors. This standard sets a benchmark for Tesla’s wireless charging aspirations.

Autopark Integration for Wireless Chargers
