Tesla Enhances App Experience with Year-in-Review Charging Feature
Tesla has always been at the forefront of providing detailed data to its owners, whether it’s about their driving habits, Full Self-Driving (FSD) usage, or energy statistics. The latest app update introduces a new feature called the Charging Passport, offering a retrospective look at your 2025 charging history in a visually appealing way.
Accessing this feature is simple once it’s rolled out to your Tesla app. You can find it in the Charging section on the app home screen, indicated by an animated Charging Passport button. While the rollout is gradual, not reaching everyone just yet, it’s worth the wait.
One of the highlights of the Charging Passport is the breakdown of key charging metrics into a shareable format. It showcases your most-visited Supercharger locations, total charging sessions, miles added, and even your longest trip. Moreover, the feature introduces a gamification element by awarding Charging Badges based on your charging behavior.
For instance, the Explorer Badge is given to those who visit unique Supercharger sites, while the Green Saver Badge rewards charging during off-peak hours. By turning charging into a game of collecting badges and rankings, Tesla aims to make the experience more engaging and rewarding for its users.
With the Charging Passport, charging your Tesla isn’t just a routine task; it’s an opportunity to unlock achievements and showcase your charging adventures at the end of the year. Tesla continues to innovate and enhance the ownership experience, making it more interactive and enjoyable for its customers.
