Previously, it was announced that the Cybertruck would soon benefit from faster charging speeds, reaching up to 500kW at the latest V4 Superchargers. Although the current V4 Superchargers are capped at around 250kW, Tesla is working towards enhancing this capacity.
With the introduction of 500kW charging, the time taken for charging during long journeys will be significantly reduced. While we await the necessary software and infrastructure updates to enable 500kW charging, Tesla has now introduced 325kW charging for the Cybertruck.
Although not as substantial as 500kW, this development marks a significant step forward. This marks one of Tesla’s initial steps in utilizing the Cybertruck’s 800V architecture, and we are eager to witness its capabilities. Tesla has confirmed that the deployment of updated V4 Superchargers is underway, but currently, only a few locations are equipped to provide the enhanced charging speeds.
325kW V4 Superchargers
While the list of sites with 325kW capable Superchargers is currently limited, we anticipate Tesla expanding this network across North America.

We will closely monitor this development as we look forward to witnessing the advancements made to the 4680 battery cell, now known as the Cybercell. Initially criticized for slow charging, the original 4680 cells even resulted in the cancellation of the 4680-equipped Model Y. However, with significant engineering enhancements, the Cybercell is making a remarkable comeback.
We are excited to witness the rapid charging capabilities of the Cybertruck and how it will sustain these new charging speeds. Stay tuned for further updates on this exciting progress.
