Among the key accomplishments celebrated by Tesla were the production of the 7 millionth vehicle, the milestone of producing the 100 millionth 4680 cell, and a record deployment of Powerwall units in the third quarter. In Berlin, the company reached a major milestone by producing 400,000 Model Ys and achieved an impressive production rate of 10,000 units per week on its battery line.
Tesla also hit a significant production milestone in Shanghai with the production of its 3 millionth vehicle. With the Cybertruck demonstrating a positive gross margin, Tesla showcased its continued leadership in the electric vehicle market. Additionally, the company produced 201 Megapack units in just one week, highlighting its commitment to advancing clean energy solutions.
In line with its global expansion efforts, Tesla opened 159 new Sales, Service, Delivery, and Collision locations worldwide, further solidifying its presence in key markets. The company also celebrated the Model Y being awarded the prestigious IIHS Top Safety Pick award and expanded Cybertruck deliveries across North America with its release in Canada and Mexico.
The Tesla Pulse survey revealed that an impressive 86% of employees participated, underscoring the company’s strong internal culture and commitment to its mission.
