Tesla has reached a significant milestone in its infrastructure development by installing its 80,000th Supercharger stall. This special charging post is located in Saint-Saturnin, France, near the iconic Le Mans racing circuit. The achievement underscores Tesla’s rapid expansion of its charging network, which now spans across Europe and beyond.
The pace of growth for Tesla’s Supercharger network has been remarkable in recent years. In September 2023, the company celebrated the installation of its 50,000th stall with a unique “Ultra Red” unit in Roseville, California. This was followed by the 60,000th milestone in Enshu Morimachi, Japan, in October 2024, and the 70,000th stall in Burleson, Texas, which opened just last June.
Adding another 10,000 stalls in less than a year demonstrates Tesla’s commitment to outpacing competitors in the charging space. The Supercharger network remains a key selling point for the brand, offering owners reliable and fast charging solutions that enable seamless long-distance travel across continents.
Tesla’s continuous expansion of its Supercharger network highlights the company’s dedication to providing convenient and efficient charging options for its growing customer base. With the 80,000th stall now operational in France, Tesla is well-positioned to meet the increasing demand for electric vehicle charging infrastructure worldwide.
