Tesla continues to push the boundaries of electric vehicle charging infrastructure with the recent installation of its 75,000th Supercharger stall worldwide. The milestone location was chosen to be in South Hobart, Tasmania, at the South Hobart Smart Store on Cascade Road, TAS 7004. This significant achievement signifies Tesla’s commitment to expanding its charging network to provide convenient and efficient charging solutions for EV owners.
The South Hobart Supercharger features four next-generation V4 Superchargers, equipped with longer cables to accommodate a wider range of vehicles. Additionally, the site offers simplified payment options, making it more accessible to a broader set of drivers. This installation fills an important regional gap, improving long-distance coverage around Hobart and enhancing the area’s appeal for mainland travelers using electric vehicles.
Similar to previous commemorative Superchargers, the 75,000th stall is finished in Glacier Blue paint, adding a touch of uniqueness to the location. Previous milestone stalls, such as the 50,000th in California and the 60,000th in Japan, have also featured special designs to mark the achievements of Tesla’s Supercharger network.
Tesla’s Supercharger expansion shows no signs of slowing down, with the company reaching significant milestones in rapid succession. Just a few months ago, Tesla celebrated its 70,000th stall at a site in Burleson, Texas, demonstrating the company’s commitment to providing a robust charging infrastructure for EV owners. The continuous growth of the Supercharger network reinforces Tesla’s position as a leader in electric vehicle technology.
In addition to expanding its charging network, Tesla has received accolades for the Supercharger Network in the United Kingdom. The 2025 Zapmap survey named Tesla’s rapid charging system as the Best Large EV Charging Network for the second consecutive year. Survey respondents praised the network for its ease of use, affordability, and reliability, making it a top choice for EV owners in the UK.
As Tesla continues to innovate and expand its Supercharger network, it is clear that the company is dedicated to providing a seamless charging experience for electric vehicle owners worldwide. The installation of the 75,000th Supercharger stall in South Hobart marks another milestone in Tesla’s mission to accelerate the transition to sustainable transportation.
