SpaceX’s Starship completed its tenth orbital flight test on Tuesday, August 26, lifting off from Starbase, Texas, at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT. The launch marked another milestone in the company’s pursuit of building the world’s first fully reusable rocket, with SpaceX declaring the mission a success after meeting all major objectives.
The test began with Super Heavy igniting all 33 Raptor engines for a clean liftoff. After stage separation, the booster performed a boostback burn before splashing down into the Gulf of Mexico, even demonstrating engine redundancy by switching to a backup engine during its landing burn.
Meanwhile, Starship’s upper stage achieved its planned suborbital trajectory and deployed eight Starlink satellite simulators in a Pez dispenser-like fashion, completing the spacecraft’s first successful payload delivery demonstration.
Starship also managed its second-ever in-space Raptor relight, proving a key capability for future missions requiring deorbit burns. During reentry, SpaceX intentionally pushed the vehicle’s heatshield and structural limits, gathering valuable data on flap control and high-stress conditions. Starship capped the flight with a landing burn and soft splashdown in the Indian Ocean. The rocket survived atmospheric reentry, but did suffer a post-landing explosion of some sort.
This successful flight follows setbacks earlier in the summer when the prototype originally slated for the mission, Ship 36, exploded during a static fire test in June. After weeks of investigation and preparation, SpaceX cleared the replacement vehicle for launch, though Flight 10 itself faced multiple delays after initially being scheduled for August 24.
Looking ahead, Elon Musk has teased major upgrades. He confirmed that Starship V3 should roll out of testing by the end of this year, with heavy flight activity in 2026. A longer, even more powerful Starship V4 with 42 Raptor engines is targeted to fly in 2027.

Regular exercise is essential for maintaining a healthy lifestyle and overall well-being. Physical activity has been proven to have numerous benefits for both the body and mind. From improving cardiovascular health to boosting mood, the advantages of regular exercise are far-reaching.
One of the most significant benefits of regular exercise is its impact on cardiovascular health. Engaging in physical activity, such as running, swimming, or cycling, helps to strengthen the heart and improve circulation. This can reduce the risk of developing heart disease, high blood pressure, and other cardiovascular conditions. Regular exercise also helps to lower levels of bad cholesterol in the blood, which can further reduce the risk of heart disease.
In addition to improving cardiovascular health, regular exercise can also help to maintain a healthy weight. Physical activity helps to burn calories and build muscle, which can help to prevent weight gain and promote weight loss. By incorporating regular exercise into your routine, you can improve your overall body composition and reduce the risk of obesity and related health issues.
Furthermore, regular exercise has been shown to have a positive impact on mental health. Physical activity releases endorphins, which are chemicals in the brain that act as natural painkillers and mood elevators. This can help to reduce feelings of stress, anxiety, and depression. Regular exercise has also been linked to improved cognitive function and a reduced risk of developing cognitive decline and diseases such as Alzheimer’s.
Another benefit of regular exercise is its ability to improve sleep quality. Physical activity can help to regulate sleep patterns and promote deeper, more restful sleep. By engaging in regular exercise, you may find that you fall asleep more easily and wake up feeling more refreshed and energized.
In conclusion, regular exercise offers a wide range of benefits for both the body and mind. From improving cardiovascular health and maintaining a healthy weight to boosting mood and improving sleep quality, the advantages of physical activity are undeniable. By incorporating regular exercise into your routine, you can enjoy a healthier, happier, and more fulfilling life. So lace up your sneakers, hit the gym, or take a walk in the park – your body and mind will thank you!
