Polestar is venturing into the north with rally-ready adaptations of its current lineup of electric vehicles.
The journey began in 2022 with the introduction of the Polestar 2 Arctic Circle concept, specially equipped for snow and ice driving. Now, Polestar has unveiled Arctic Circle versions of the Polestar 3 and Polestar 4 SUVs, showcasing all three models together for the first time.

Developed in collaboration with Polestar’s head of driving dynamics, Joakim Rydholm, an accomplished rally driver, the Arctic Circle concepts feature raised ride heights, Öhlins dampers, OZ Racing wheels, Pirelli studded tires, Recaro bucket seats, and Stedi driving lights.
Additional accessories like roof racks, snow shovels, skid plates, and snow ladders (specific to the Polestar 3) enhance functionality in wintry conditions. While Polestar has not confirmed plans for an Arctic Circle option package on production models, these enhancements could potentially be offered as part of the automaker’s accessory lineup.

The introduction of the Polestar 3 and Polestar 4 SUVs for the 2025 model year expands Polestar’s lineup, which previously only included the Polestar 2. The Polestar 3, crafted in the U.S., prioritizes efficiency and performance, distinguishing itself from the Volvo EX90. Meanwhile, the Polestar 4, initially produced in China but transitioning to South Korea, challenges conventional design boundaries.
These Polestar Arctic Circle concepts will be officially unveiled on February 1 at the 2025 F.A.T. Ice Race in Zell am See, Austria. Audi will also showcase its Q6 E-Tron Offroad concept at the event, a rugged variant of the recently launched Q6 E-Tron electric crossover.
