Jaguar Unveils First of Electric Vehicle Lineup
Jaguar has finally given a sneak peek of the first electric vehicle in its upcoming lineup. The automaker plans to introduce a full range of electric vehicles, with the first model being a four-door grand tourer.

The electric grand tourer features a distinctive design with an exaggerated hood and a fastback-like profile. Jaguar also plans to release an SUV and a traditional sedan as part of its electric vehicle lineup.
Jaguar confirmed the concept version of the upcoming EV last year and is set to debut the production model in 2025, with deliveries starting in 2026. The EV is expected to be showcased at the 2024 Miami Art Week.
With a price starting at around 100,000 British pounds, the Jaguar electric vehicle promises to offer more power than any previous Jaguar road car. It aims to achieve a range of at least 430 miles on the European WLTP testing cycle.

The new Jaguar EVs will feature North American Charging Standard (NACS) ports for Tesla Supercharger access. They will be built on the Jaguar Electrified Architecture (JEA) platform, separate from Land Rover models, but manufactured alongside them at JLR’s plant in Solihull, U.K.
Jaguar’s foray into electric vehicles began with the I-Pace crossover in 2018. However, the automaker faced challenges in deciding on its next steps, leading to the cancellation of plans for an all-electric flagship sedan and a second-generation I-Pace in favor of a fresh approach.
Jaguar is discontinuing most of its current models, including the I-Pace, to make way for the new electric lineup. The gasoline F-Pace crossover will be the only model available until the new EVs are launched, a situation described by Jaguar’s managing director as “hugely frustrating.”
