Unplugged Performance, a leader in the Tesla aftermarket industry, has recently launched what they are calling the world’s first “indestructible” forged wheel. Designed specifically for the Tesla Model 3, Model Y, as well as the company’s upcoming Cybercab and Robotaxi fleet, the UP Forged Road Warrior (UP-RW) is built with durability, efficiency, and long-term cost savings in mind.
According to Unplugged Performance, the UP-RW offers unmatched strength, a high load rating, and a lifetime replacement guarantee in the event that the wheel is bent or cracked under normal use. This new forged wheel is engineered to be ready for the future, especially with Tesla’s Robotaxi service currently undergoing limited pilot testing in Austin, Texas, and plans to expand to other cities pending regulatory approval.
A standout feature of the UP-RW is the replaceable Curb Guard Ring, which absorbs impacts from curbs and potholes and can be easily swapped out without having to remove the tire. The wheel’s forged 6061-T6 aluminum construction keeps weight down, while an integrated aerodynamic disc helps reduce drag, coming within 0.010 Cd of Tesla’s own 18″ Photon Aero Covered wheels in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) testing.
The UP-RW is compatible with factory Tesla tires in 19″ or 20″ non-staggered configurations and comes with billet-forged Center Caps and Curb Guards. For a limited time, sets of four wheels start at an introductory price of $2,595 USD.
Unplugged Performance CEO Ben Schaffer described the UP-RW as the ultimate EV daily driven wheel and the company’s Robotaxi wheel, built for durability and designed to provide peace of mind for Tesla owners. Unplugged Performance continues to be a leader in premium, performance-grade aftermarket upgrades for Tesla vehicles, with the UP-RW being the latest example of their commitment to innovation.

The company’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of aftermarket upgrades for Tesla vehicles is evident in the design and functionality of the UP-RW wheel, making it a top choice for Tesla owners looking for a durable and high-performance option for their vehicles. The world of technology is constantly evolving, with new innovations and advancements being made every day. One such advancement that has been making waves in the tech industry is the development of quantum computing.
Quantum computing is a new form of computing that uses the principles of quantum mechanics to perform calculations at a speed and scale that is far beyond what is possible with traditional computers. Unlike classical computers, which use bits to store and manipulate information, quantum computers use qubits, which can exist in multiple states at once. This allows quantum computers to perform calculations in parallel, rather than sequentially, making them much faster and more powerful than classical computers.
One of the main advantages of quantum computing is its ability to solve complex problems that are currently beyond the capabilities of classical computers. For example, quantum computers have the potential to revolutionize the fields of cryptography and cybersecurity, as they can break encryption codes that would take traditional computers thousands of years to crack. Quantum computers can also be used to simulate complex systems, such as chemical reactions or weather patterns, which would be practically impossible with classical computers.
However, despite its immense potential, quantum computing is still in its early stages of development. Building and operating a quantum computer is extremely challenging, as qubits are highly sensitive to their environment and can easily be disrupted by external factors. Researchers are still working to overcome these technical challenges and develop practical quantum computing systems that can be used for real-world applications.
Despite these challenges, the future of quantum computing looks promising. Major tech companies such as Google, IBM, and Microsoft are investing heavily in quantum computing research, and governments around the world are also funding projects to advance the field. With continued research and development, quantum computing has the potential to revolutionize the way we use technology and solve some of the most complex problems facing society today.
