- Pebble introduced the Flow electric travel trailer in 2023
- Production of the Pebble Flow is set to begin early this year
- The Pebble Flow is priced at $109,500 and includes a 45-kwh LFP battery pack
California-based startup Pebble recently revealed the production-ready version of its Flow EV travel trailer, with plans to start delivering to customers in the first half of the year.
Originally unveiled in 2023, the Pebble Flow utilizes a 45-kwh LFP battery pack and self-propulsion to assist a tow vehicle, addressing the range decrease that EVs typically experience while towing. The startup claims it can also help gasoline and diesel vehicles by improving fuel economy.
The battery specifications remain the same as previously discussed by Pebble, but the company has made modifications to the drivetrain. This system can align the trailer with a tow hitch and maneuver it in and out of parking spaces using a remote-control feature through a smartphone app.
Pebble asserts that the battery pack can double as a backup power source at campsites and offers various charging options, including traditional AC or DC connectors and an integrated 1.1-kw solar array.

Pebble has made enhancements to the design, such as integrated taillights to improve aerodynamics and ground clearance. The Flow now has a larger pass-through storage space, all-terrain levelers, and a hitch receiver for accessories like bike racks.

Interior updates include cabinets that flip up for easier access, windows that open for increased airflow, a larger door opening, and more storage space. Additionally, a motorized awning has been added for convenience, along with lights, stairs, and stabilizers that can be activated with the push of a button.
Pebble anticipates starting production early this year, with initial deliveries to customers shortly thereafter. Reservations for a build slot can be secured with a $500 refundable deposit.
The first units will be Founders Editions with all features included and exclusive color options for $175,000. Pebble has not disclosed the individual costs of these versions, but the standard pricing starts at $109,500 for the base model and $135,500 for a dual-motor version with remote control and other technological features.
Pebble is not the only company exploring this concept. The Lightship AE.1 Cosmos Edition is another travel trailer with an integrated battery pack for additional propulsion, starting at $250,000. Airstream introduced an EV-friendly travel trailer concept in 2023, while Thor Industries, the owner of the iconic trailer brand, has proposed an electric RV with extended range as an alternative.
