Jaguar Set to Unveil Future Electric Vehicles Concept during Miami Art Week
Jaguar is gearing up to showcase a concept car that will provide a glimpse into the design of its upcoming electric vehicles on December 2, as part of Miami Art Week.
The automaker recently teased the Design Vision concept, revealing a sneak peek of its distinctive features, including a bulging rear fender and angular elements that signify a departure from Jaguar’s current design language.
Next-generation Jaguar EV prototype
The concept is expected to offer a preview of Jaguar’s initial electric vehicle, a sleek grand tourer that has been spotted undergoing testing in heavily-camouflaged form. Jaguar has announced that a production model is set to debut in 2025, featuring a six-figure price tag and unprecedented power, with deliveries commencing the following year.
Furthermore, Jaguar plans to introduce two additional electric vehicles, including an SUV and a classic sedan, all based on the new JEA (Jaguar Electrified Architecture) platform. These models will incorporate North American Charging Standard (NACS) ports for convenient access to Tesla Supercharger stations, marking Jaguar’s complete transition to an all-electric lineup.
2024 Jaguar I-Pace
Although Jaguar previously introduced the electric I-Pace, the brand is now shifting its focus entirely towards electric vehicles, discontinuing most of its current gasoline models. This strategic move includes ceasing production of the I-Pace and other gasoline-powered models, with the F-Pace poised to be the sole offering until the arrival of the new electric lineup.
