The highly anticipated 2025 Chevrolet Blazer EV SS is set to make its debut soon, boasting an impressive increase in power, all starting at a base price of $61,995, which includes the required $1,395 destination fee.
This price aligns with Chevy’s initial quote from last September when they first introduced the 2025 Blazer EV lineup. Surprisingly, it is $3,500 lower than the original price initially announced for the Blazer EV SS (Super Sport).

Not only has the price fluctuated since the initial announcement in 2022, but so has the powertrain. The Blazer EV SS was initially said to have a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system producing 564 hp and 684 lb-ft of torque in the WOW performance mode. However, Chevy has recently confirmed that it will deliver a whopping 615 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque.
Chevy also claims a 0-60 mph time of 3.4 seconds, along with a retuned suspension. While not as extensive as some competitors, such as the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N, which offers similar performance capabilities at a higher price point of $67,475, the Blazer EV SS remains a compelling option.

Chevy has confirmed that the AWD SS model will feature the same 102-kwh battery pack as the RWD RS models, while the EPA range is yet to be determined.
After experiencing some setbacks in 2024 due to software issues, Chevy is back with enhancements for the 2025 model year. Improved EPA range and power output are highlights, along with the addition of a base front-wheel-drive model to the lineup.

UPDATE: The base price of the Blazer EV SS with destination is $61,995, not $62,490 as previously stated.
