Hyundai Offers Free Home Chargers or Public-Charging Credits for Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 Models
Hyundai is expanding its offer of free home chargers or public-charging credits to buyers of the 2024 and 2025 Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 lineups. Previously limited to the 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 N performance variant, this perk is now available to owners of 2024 and 2025 Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 models as well. Customers can choose between a free ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 charger or a $400 public-charging credit for use at various stations.

The home charger is the same unit Hyundai began offering to other EV customers in 2023. Installation services are provided through the automaker’s Hyundai Home service, which also offers solar and energy storage options. Hardwired installation is required, but costs are not included in the offer. Customers have a specific timeframe to choose the free home charger or charging credit and complete the installation.
