The 2025 Honda Prologue electric SUV has been updated for its second model year, with improvements in range and power while maintaining a price just under $50,000.
All variants still come with an 85-kwh battery pack, but Honda has managed to increase the range for different models. The longest-range single-motor front-wheel-drive models now offer 308 miles on the EPA cycle, a 12-mile increase from before. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive models have also seen improvements, with the EX and Touring grades now estimated at 294 miles (13 miles more) and the Elite grade at 283 miles (10 miles more).
A new front drive unit has boosted the output of single-motor models to 220 hp and 243 lb-ft of torque, while all-wheel-drive models now deliver 300 hp and 355 lb-ft of torque.

2025 Honda Prologue
The Prologue still maintains a peak DC fast-charging rate of 150 kw, allowing for quick charging times and convenience.
Despite the upgrades, Honda expects all 2025 Prologue models to qualify for the full $7,500 federal EV tax credit. The pricing for the base model starts at $48,850 (including destination charge), with the Touring and Elite grades priced at $53,150 and $59,350, respectively.
Based on a General Motors platform, the Prologue has been well-received by Honda enthusiasts transitioning to EVs. It serves as a precursor to Honda’s upcoming 0 Series EVs, set to debut in 2026.
