Tesla has recently introduced a new version of its popular Cybertruck, offering more features at a competitive price point. The new Cybertruck All-Wheel-Drive starts at $59,990 and includes impressive features that make it a great value for consumers.
This latest offering from Tesla boasts a 325-mile range rating, a powered tonneau cover with three bed outlets, Powershare capability, coil springs with adaptive damping for a smoother ride, Steer-by-wire and four-wheel-steering, a 6′ x 4′ composite bed, a towing capacity of 7,500 pounds, and a powered frunk. Compared to the previous Cybertruck Rear-Wheel-Drive model, the new AWD trim offers significant upgrades and enhancements.
The discontinued Rear-Wheel-Drive model lacked features such as a power tonneau, adaptive suspension, leather seats, and other premium features found in higher-level trims. It was only a $10,000 discount from the next trim level, resulting in a loss of important features for minimal savings. The new AWD trim addresses these shortcomings and provides a more appealing option for potential buyers.
Despite being a fan favorite, the Cybertruck has struggled in terms of sales due to its high price point. The introduction of the more affordable AWD configuration is expected to attract a wider range of customers who were previously deterred by the cost of the vehicle. This new trim is a significant improvement over the pricing structure from 2019 when Tesla initially unveiled the Cybertruck with three trim levels.
With deliveries set to begin in June 2026, the Cybertruck AWD presents a compelling option for consumers looking for a capable and innovative electric truck. Tesla’s commitment to offering high-quality vehicles with advanced features at competitive prices is evident in this latest addition to the Cybertruck lineup.
