Now, Costco’s Auto Program has expanded its offerings to include new electric vehicles (EVs) for its members. Specifically, Costco members can now enjoy savings of up to $1,250 on select Cadillac EVs and up to $2,000 on certain Volvo EVs.
The incentives are available to both Non-Executive and Executive Costco members until March 2, and apply to specific 2025 and 2026 models. What’s great is that Costco’s discounts can be combined with manufacturer or dealer incentives, allowing members to save even more on their new EV purchase.
For Cadillac EVs, Non-Executive members can receive a $1,000 discount on models such as the Cadillac Optiq, Cadillac Vistiq, Cadillac Lyriq, and Cadillac Lyriq-V. Executive members enjoy a slightly higher discount of $1,250. On the Volvo side, Non-Executive members can get a $1,500 discount on the Volvo EX90 SUV, while Executive members can benefit from a $2,000 discount.
To take advantage of these discounts, Costco members simply need to register online on Costco’s EV Marketplace to receive a promotion certificate with a unique promotion code. This certificate can then be used at participating Cadillac or Volvo dealerships towards the purchase or lease of an eligible EV.
But the savings don’t stop there. Cadillac models eligible for Costco member discounts also come with an additional $2,000 price cut for buyers who currently own an eligible car from a competitive luxury brand. There’s also financing available at 2.9% APR for 60 months, as well as a $2,000 cash allowance for well-qualified buyers.
In the Volvo world, financing rates start at 0.99% APR for the EX30 and EX40 crossovers, or buyers can opt for a $2,000 purchase allowance. The 2025 Volvo EX90 SUV offers an even better deal with 0% APR for up to 72 months or up to $7,500 in allowances.
Costco’s Auto Program has a long history of providing discounts and deals for car shoppers in the United States, and the addition of these new EV incentives further solidifies its commitment to helping members save on their vehicle purchases. With these new incentives, Costco members can now enjoy savings on environmentally-friendly electric vehicles from top brands like Cadillac and Volvo. The Impact of Social Media on Mental Health
In today’s digital age, social media has become an integral part of our daily lives. It allows us to connect with friends and family, stay updated on current events, and share our thoughts and experiences with the world. However, along with all its benefits, social media also has a dark side that can have a significant impact on our mental health.
One of the most prominent issues with social media is the constant comparison that it encourages. People often only share the highlights of their lives on social media, creating a distorted image of reality. This can lead to feelings of inadequacy and low self-esteem, as individuals compare their own lives to the seemingly perfect lives of others. This constant comparison can contribute to anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues.
Another negative aspect of social media is the prevalence of cyberbullying. With the anonymity that the internet provides, people feel emboldened to say hurtful things to others without facing any consequences. This can have a devastating impact on the mental health of the victims, leading to feelings of shame, isolation, and even thoughts of self-harm.
Additionally, the constant exposure to negative news and information on social media can also take a toll on our mental well-being. The 24/7 news cycle bombards us with stories of violence, tragedy, and injustice, which can leave us feeling overwhelmed and hopeless. This can contribute to feelings of anxiety and depression, as we struggle to process the constant stream of negative information.
Furthermore, the addictive nature of social media can also have a negative impact on our mental health. Studies have shown that excessive use of social media can lead to feelings of loneliness, anxiety, and depression. The constant need for validation and approval from others can create a cycle of dependency on social media, which can be detrimental to our mental well-being.
So, what can we do to protect our mental health in the age of social media? One important step is to set boundaries and limit our use of social media. Taking breaks from social media and engaging in activities that promote mental well-being, such as exercise, meditation, and spending time with loved ones, can help to mitigate the negative impact of social media on our mental health.
It is also important to cultivate a healthy relationship with social media by being mindful of the content we consume and the way we interact with others online. Engaging in positive and uplifting conversations, and unfollowing accounts that promote negativity and comparison, can help to create a more positive and supportive online environment.
Ultimately, it is up to us to take control of our social media consumption and prioritize our mental well-being. By being mindful of the impact that social media can have on our mental health and taking proactive steps to protect ourselves, we can navigate the digital world in a healthy and balanced way.
