Earlier this year, Tesla rolled out an update for Beach Buggy Racing 2 in version 2024.20, introducing a new leaderboard feature to the popular game.
Get ready to hit the road and race to the top with Tesla’s revamped Beach Buggy Racing 2 – Supercharger Edition.
Supercharger Leaderboards
Tesla has added Supercharger Leaderboards to the game, allowing players to compete against real people at or near Supercharger sites. These time-based leaderboards enable drivers to challenge others even when there are no opponents present at the Supercharger location.
Each track features its own leaderboard that is specific to the location, ensuring a unique competitive experience at every Supercharger site.
Upon arriving at a Supercharger, Tesla prompts players to launch Beach Buggy Racing and join the leaderboard competition. Charging is not required to play the game, only physical presence at the Supercharger location.
While global leaderboards are not yet available, engaging in friendly competition with fellow Tesla owners at your local Supercharger can make charging stops more entertaining.
Vehicle Colorizer
One hidden gem in Beach Buggy Racing is the ability to change your vehicle’s color through Tesla’s Colorizer, which also alters the appearance of your in-game vehicle. The paint style options, including Solid, Matte, and Metallic, are reflected in the game as well.
How to Play Beach Buggy Racing
There are multiple ways to enjoy Beach Buggy Racing, with Tesla offering various control options for an immersive gaming experience.
You can access the game from Tesla Arcade while the vehicle is parked, and choose between touchscreen controls, Bluetooth or USB controllers, or using the vehicle’s steering wheel for gameplay.
If using the steering wheel, be cautious as your actual wheels will turn along with the in-game vehicle, potentially causing wear on your tires. It is recommended to use a controller or the touchscreen for a smoother gaming experience. Additionally, when using the vehicle’s steering wheel, remember to accelerate using the Brake pedal, not the actual accelerator pedal.
