- New iX Models Arriving in Q2
The 2026 BMW iX electric crossover is set to receive a refresh with enhanced styling, increased range and power, and a more affordable price point due to the introduction of a new base model.
The latest iX xDrive45 variant now starts at $76,325 (including destination charge), marking a significant price drop compared to the previous xDrive50 model from 2025. Despite the lower cost, the xDrive45 maintains the dual-motor all-wheel drive system, generating 402 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque for a swift 0-60 mph acceleration in an estimated 4.9 seconds.

With a range of 312 miles, the xDrive45 surpasses the 309-mile capacity of the 2025 model. This is achieved with a slightly smaller 100.1 kwh (usable) battery. The mid-level xDrive60, starting at $89,675, boasts 536 hp and 564 lb-ft, offering 20 more horsepower than the previous xDrive50 model.
Priced at $112,675, the top-tier M70 xDrive delivers a powerful 650 hp and 811 lb-ft, replacing the former M60 model with enhanced performance. The M70 accelerates from 0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 155 mph.
The BMW iX lineup benefits from improved range, thanks to upgraded inverters, battery management, and new cell chemistry. All models also feature a heat pump for efficient cold weather operation.
Charging capabilities include a maximum Level 2 AC rate of 11 kw, with DC fast-charging rates ranging from 175 kw to 195 kw across the models.
