Tesla’s Drive-in Diner Coming Soon!
Tesla enthusiasts have been eagerly awaiting the opening of Tesla’s very own drive-in diner with Superchargers. The concept was first introduced in 2022 when plans were filed for this innovative supercharger location. In a presentation in 2023, Rebecca Tinucci, Tesla’s then Senior Director of Charging Infrastructure, emphasized the importance of creating something unique and exciting.
The vision for the Tesla Diner includes a retro-style restaurant with a rooftop patio and a classic drive-in movie screen. The anticipation is building as people imagine what delicious treats await inside. Construction of the diner is well underway, with two large outdoor LED screens for entertainment and seating for up to 77 guests while their vehicles charge.
In the latest Tesla app update, new details about the Tesla Diner have been revealed. The integration with the Tesla app will allow users to access the diner menu, order food, and even have it charged to their account seamlessly. Just like the smooth experience of using Tesla Superchargers, the diner experience is expected to be convenient and efficient.
Exciting Features
The Tesla Diner UI will be user-friendly, with easy access to menu options. The app will likely detect when users are in close proximity to the diner and display relevant information accordingly. With the inclusion of phrases like “View menu & amenities” in the app update, it’s clear that Tesla is committed to providing a seamless dining experience for its customers.
Opening Soon!
With the infrastructure in place and the diner details being integrated into the Tesla app, it seems that the Tesla Diner will be opening its doors to the public very soon. This 24-hour diner is set to attract Tesla owners looking for a unique and enjoyable dining experience while their vehicles charge.
Stay tuned for more updates on the grand opening of Tesla’s drive-in diner!
