Tesla has recently rolled out a new software update, version 2026.2.9.10, which includes tweaks to the latest FSD 14.3.2 build. This update focuses on improving the Full Self-Driving intervention screen based on feedback from testers who found the previous versions to be frustrating and poorly placed.
In previous versions, the intervention screen featured a large pop-up in the center of the display that remained until a selection was made. While a “Navigation” option was added based on user requests, the menu was still considered obtrusive. However, the new layout, shared by Dirty Tesla, moves the menu to a lower, more integrated position on the screen. The refined interface now prompts users with the question, “Why did you intervene?” and provides four clear categories for feedback: Navigation, Preference, Discomfort, and Critical.
In addition to touch-based options, drivers can also send an anonymous voice message describing their experience to help Tesla improve the self-driving software. Although the menu still cannot be swiped away, the new design allows owners to continue using other car functions while the prompt is active. This improvement was well-received by testers, with one noting, “I like that I can interact with it later when I’m ready.”
The update showcases Tesla’s commitment to rapid UI iterations based on real-world driver feedback, with the goal of making the data collection process less distracting for its fleet of testers. Alongside this update, Tesla also expanded the rollout of software update 2026.14.3, the latest Spring Update for HW3 and HW4 vehicles.
Overall, Tesla’s continuous efforts to enhance the user experience and improve the functionality of its Full Self-Driving software demonstrate the company’s dedication to innovation and customer satisfaction. With each update, Tesla strives to address user feedback and make driving with autonomous features more seamless and intuitive for its customers.
