The 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V, unveiled on Thursday, represents the most powerful, fastest, and priciest variant of the Lyriq EV lineup so far. Production of the Lyriq-V is scheduled to start this spring at GM’s Spring Hill Manufacturing plant in Tennessee, with a total cost of $79,990, including a destination charge of $1,395.
The Lyriq-V will utilize the same 102-kwh battery pack as the standard Lyriq model, but the dual-motor powertrain will deliver an impressive 615 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. Each axle will have a single motor for all-wheel drive capability. Cadillac has stated that the range of the Lyriq-V will be around 285 miles.
Acceleration from 0-60 mph in the Lyriq-V will take just 3.3 seconds, making it 0.1 second quicker than the high-performance CT5-V Blackwing powered by a supercharged V-8 engine. The Lyriq-V will feature shorter final drive ratios compared to the standard Lyriq, providing enhanced performance.
Cadillac has upgraded the braking system for the Lyriq-V, equipping it with 6-piston Brembo calipers and larger discs for improved stopping power. The vehicle will also come with standard adaptive dampers for a more dynamic driving experience.
