Stellantis is now accepting orders for all three variations of the Ram ProMaster EV electric van lineup, with deliveries set to commence in the second quarter of this year.
Initially announced over a year ago, Ram revealed that the ProMaster EV would be available in a delivery van configuration along with two cargo van options. The delivery van was introduced as a 2024 model, while the cargo van models are making their debut for the 2025 model year.
The cargo van models feature a standard 12-foot cargo length with an optional extended 13-foot length, both equipped with a 159-inch wheelbase. These front-wheel-drive vans are powered by a single electric motor producing 268 hp and 302 lb-ft of torque in both cargo and delivery van models.

A 110-kwh battery pack, positioned below the center of the vehicle to maintain a flat cargo floor, offers an estimated 164 miles of range for the cargo vans and 180 miles for the delivery van. Ram also boasts a maximum payload of 3,020 pounds for cargo vans and 2,876 pounds for the delivery van, while maintaining the same cargo volume as equivalent internal-combustion models.
Pricing starts at $58,490 for the cargo models and $71,990 for the delivery van. Despite the 2025 Ford E-Transit holding the title of the most affordable electric van with a starting price of $53,095, the ProMaster offers slightly more range and battery flexibility, making it a compelling option.
Furthermore, the ProMaster significantly undercuts the $82,900 base price of the recently announced Rivian Commercial Van 500, which offers similar range. While the Rivian is built on an EV-specific platform, the ProMaster EV shares its underpinnings with the gasoline-powered ProMaster. Similarly, the Ford E-Transit and current Mercedes-Benz eSprinter also share platforms, although Mercedes is planning to introduce a standalone family of electric vans within the next two years. General Motors has also developed electric vans from scratch, initially marketing them under the BrightDrop brand before integrating them into Chevrolet.
