Positioned between the base Taycan and the Taycan 4S, the Taycan 4 sedan offers a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system producing 402 hp, or 429 hp with launch control engaged. This model accelerates from 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds, showcasing a 0.1-second improvement over its predecessor, according to Porsche.
The Taycan 4 is offered with either the standard “Performance” battery, now at 83.6 kWh usable (89 kWh gross) for the 2025 model year, or the “Performance Battery Plus” with a capacity increase to 97 kWh usable (105 kWh gross) for 2025.
The Taycan GTS models now deliver up to 690 hp with launch control—an increase of 100 hp compared to previous versions. An additional push-to-pass feature, part of the standard Sport Chrono Package, can provide an extra 93 hp for short bursts. Both sedan and Sport Turismo models accelerate from 0-60 mph in a Porsche-estimated 3.1 seconds—a 0.4-second improvement over their predecessors. The sedan variant can also complete the quarter-mile in 11.1 seconds—a 0.7-second enhancement.

GTS models also benefit from chassis upgrades, including optional rear-wheel steering, adaptive air suspension, torque vectoring, and an active anti-roll system. These enhancements are expected to further elevate performance, with an emphasis on efficiency demonstrated during initial test drives conducted in April.
EPA range ratings will be disclosed closer to the launch date, but the new models are anticipated to offer a range between the current high of 318 miles and low of 266 miles for the sedan body style. Additionally, the models will benefit from an enhanced charge curve, leveraging a peak of 320 kW (or 270 kW for the base battery) to optimize the use of 350 kW Combined Charging Standard (CCS) connectors.
