The 2025 Polestar 2 Lineup Shifts to Performance Pack Only
The 2025 Polestar 2 lineup has undergone a significant change, with only one configuration available – the Performance Pack spec. This means that the base single-motor version and the non-Performance dual-motor version will no longer be offered.
The single-motor version, known for its impressive range of 320 miles from an 82-kwh battery pack, has been discontinued. The Performance Pack models, rated at 247 miles for 2024, will now be the sole option for the Polestar 2 in 2025.
The Performance Pack includes features such as Öhlins monotube dampers, upgraded brakes, and Continental SportContact 6 performance tires. With an output of 469 hp and 546 lb-ft of torque, the Performance Pack models offer a powerful driving experience.
Along with the Performance Pack, the 2025 Polestar 2 comes standard with the Climate and Plus Packs. However, this configuration comes at a price of $66,200, a significant increase from the previous model’s base price of $51,300.
Polestar has confirmed its commitment to expanding its lineup with the Polestar 3 and Polestar 4 models, ensuring a diverse range of electric vehicles in the future.
