The 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning Electric Pickup Truck: What to Expect
The 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning electric pickup truck remains unchanged for the upcoming year, maintaining its prices amidst the unpredictability that has surrounded the model since its introduction.
While Ford has replaced the 2024 Avalanche paint color with Space White Metallic, the entry-level Lightning model is still the fleet-focused Pro, starting at $47,780 including the mandatory $2,095 destination charge.

For non-fleet buyers, the base model is the XLT, starting at $65,090 with destination charges. The Flash grade, introduced in 2024, is priced at $70,090, while the upscale Lariat and Platinum models maintain their prices at $79,090 and $87,090 respectively.
All variants of the Lightning come with dual-motor all-wheel drive and a crew cab with the same bed size, offering two battery choices and power outputs. The 98-kwh Standard Range pack delivers 452 hp, while the 131-kwh Extended Range pack provides 580 hp with 775 lb-ft of torque. The EPA range remains at a maximum of 240 miles for the Standard Range pack and 320 miles for the Extended Range pack.

While current prices have remained stable, fluctuations have been observed in the past. In 2024, Ford initially decreased prices for top-tier models but raised prices for the rest of the lineup at the beginning of the year. Subsequently, the company reversed its decision a few months later, implementing price reductions of up to $5,500.
These adjustments were made in response to reduced demand caused by high prices, prompting Ford to slow down production in late 2023. Production was then halted at the end of 2024 as part of a reevaluation of Ford’s electric vehicle strategy.
