The Fiat 500e stands out as one of the most affordable electric vehicles in the U.S., and its price has dropped even further in its second model year since its return to the market in a redesigned form.
For the 2025 model year, the Fiat 500e now costs $2,000 less compared to the previous year, with a base price of $30,500 before destination charges. This makes it the second-lowest-priced EV in the U.S., following the 2025 Nissan Leaf priced from $28,140 before destination.

The recent price reduction was initially reported by CarsDirect, with an official statement from a Stellantis spokesperson confirming that production cost savings have been achieved due to the extended production of the current-generation Fiat 500e for the European market.
Another highlight for Fiat’s exclusive U.S. model is the Giorgio Armani Collector’s Edition, featuring unique paint colors and interior trim inspired by the renowned fashion brand, along with wheels designed in the shape of the Armani logo. Unveiled at the 2024 Los Angeles auto show, this special edition will be part of the 2025 lineup, although pricing details for the U.S. market are yet to be announced.

While no longer considered a compliance car like its predecessor, the Fiat 500e was intended to gauge the demand for electric small cars and short-range EVs in the American market. With an EPA range of 149 miles from its 42-kWh battery pack, it seems that demand has been modest, leading the parent company to adjust production accordingly.
Despite its challenges, the Fiat 500e received positive feedback for urban use in initial test drives, prompting speculation about the potential popularity of a four-door variant. Additionally, Stellantis has been exploring battery swapping technology with this model and is reportedly considering a gasoline option, despite the current generation being initially planned as electric-only.
