The 2025 Audi A6 Sportback E-Tron is now available for order in the United States, following its debut in Europe last summer. Priced starting at $67,195, this electric vehicle (EV) is offered only in sedan form. It boasts an impressive maximum EPA-rated range of 392 miles, making it the longest-range EV in Audi’s American lineup, surpassing the Q6 E-Tron’s 321-mile range.
Built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, both the A6 E-Tron and Q6 E-Tron feature a low-lying battery pack, enhancing rear passenger comfort by providing ample legroom. The A6 E-Tron is equipped with a single 100-kilowatt-hour (94.4 kWh net) battery, capable of fast charging up to 270 kW, allowing for a 10 to 80% charge in just 21 minutes.
The 800-volt battery pack enables rapid charging speeds when connected to an 800V DC fast charger. Additionally, the A6 E-Tron can accept power from older 400V chargers, with the battery splitting into two 400V banks for parallel charging at up to 135 kW. When using an AC charger, the sedan can charge at a rate of 9.6 kW from a 240V Level 2 supply.
The base model of the 2025 Audi A6 E-Tron features a rear-mounted 375-horsepower electric motor and is available in two trim levels: Premium starting at $67,195 and Prestige at $73,495. The maximum range of 392 miles is achievable in the rear-wheel drive variant with 19-inch wheels and all-season tires.
Audi’s Android Automotive OS-based infotainment system offers a comprehensive set of features in the base connectivity package without requiring a subscription. This includes remote start, lock and unlock, interior preconditioning, vehicle status, charging management, and roadside assistance.
For those seeking more power, there’s a dual-motor version called the A6 Sportback E-Tron Quattro, priced from $69,195. It delivers 465 hp, accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds, and offers a top speed of 130 mph with an EPA-estimated range of 377 miles. The performance-oriented S6 E-Tron Quattro boasts 543 hp, a 0-60 mph time of 3.7 seconds, and a range of 324 miles with 20-inch wheels, starting at $79,995.
Scheduled for delivery this summer, the 2025 Audi A6 E-Tron will only be available in the Sportback body style in the U.S., while Europe also offers an Avant wagon version. Audi enthusiasts can look forward to experiencing the innovative technology and impressive performance of the A6 E-Tron in the coming months.
